WE ARE GIVING SOMETHING BACK

We are doing the 96 in 96 challenge

Chris Nicholson and 5 friends are planning on visiting 96 football stadiums in 96 hours, (All of the 92 football league clubs in England, Glasgow Rangers and Celtic in Scotland, Wembley and Twickenham stadiums) We know Twickenham isn't quite a football stadium but as big rugby fans it would be rude to miss it out on such a great journey.

We are hoping to obtain as much signed merchandise as possible along the way so we can auction this off on a charity fundraising night to be held after the road trip.

(details about the fundraiser will be published when known)

In April 2018 Chris was diagnosed with stage 4 Bowel and liver cancer, which came as a complete shock to him and his family as we are sure it does with everybody who hears that news.

Treatment is going well, his bowel surgery is now all complete and he is now ready to start his final stage of chemotherapy, and then onto his liver operation.

All the treatment and support he has received from the medical staff along the way has been outstanding and he couldn't ask for more, which is why he would love to do this event to help raise money and give back to Weston Park cancer charity to help others going through their own cancer battle and also to Bowel cancer UK for giving him hope and focus by sharing other peoples positive stories which helps you through the bad days and to continue the good work that they all do.
